Communication and Knowledge Management Officer – Individual Long-term Consultant

Expressions of interest are being requested for an Individual Long-term Consultant Position

 

 

  • The African Development Bank invites eligible consultants to indicate their Interest in providing Communication and Knowledge Management Services to support the Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa (SEFA). SEFA provides catalytic finance to unlock private sector investments in renewable energy and it is supporting several projects and programs in its three areas of intervention (Green Baseload, Green Mini-Grids and Energy Efficiency) ;
  • Within the Department of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency and under the supervision of the Manager of PENP1/PERN, and the SEFA Coordinator, the Communication and Knowledge Management Officer – to be based at the AfDB Headquarters in Abidjan – will be a member of the SEFA Technical Unit ;
  • The services to be provided under the Assignment include but are not limited to: (i) Refine, manage and facilitate the implementation of the SEFA communications strategy, (ii) Lead on the development of the SEFA communication materials, Annual Report and Semi-Annual Report, (iii) Coordinate and project manage the solicitation of feedback and technical inputs on various reports and documents as required by the SEFA Technical Unit; (iii) others as stipulated in the Terms of Reference to be shared with the shortlisted consultants ;
  • Interested Consultants shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this assignment (documents, reference to similar services, CVs, experience in similar assignments, etc.) ;
  • The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Rules and Procedure for the Use of Consultants. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him/her in the shortlist. The duration of services is twelve (12) months and the estimate starting date is early June 2021 ;
  • Interested Individual Consultants may obtain further information at the address below during the Bank’s working hours. For the EOI to be considered, the consultant needs to be registered in the AfDB DACON Consultant Database ;
