- The African Development Bank (AfDB or the Bank) hereby invites Individual Consultants to express their interest in the following Assignment: Compliance and Learning Analyst ;
- The objective of this assignment is to contribute to the Bank’s efforts to increase compliance of its operations with the relevant Bank guidelines and procedures via conducting a compliance review on a sample of documentation related to AfDB’s interventions and programs. The findings of the review will be underpinned in the Compliance and Learning Report (CLR) as well as the Quality Achievers Awards. This report will also identify lessons to help support compliance and operations quality and impact in future ;
- The assignment will require the services of an Individual Consultant that is able to bring together an in-depth expertise on the subject matter to conduct the compliance review of the reporting and assessment tools applied to the Bank’s operations and programs; analyze data, formulate findings and recommendations; draft the CLR; and implement an action plan to address compliance and quality issues in the future. The Consultant is expected to deliver on the assignment at high quality standards within the defined timeframe ;
- The Quality Assurance Division of the Bank invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above-described services. Interested eligible Consultants shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to provide the services (references for similar services, experience in comparable assignments, etc.). Expertise in reviewing the quality of reporting on development interventions, building, and analyzing large datasets must therefore be clearly demonstrated ;
- The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Procurement Policy and Procedures for Recruitment of Individual Consultants. Please note that interest expressed by an Individual Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him/her in the shortlist ;
- The estimated duration of services is expected for 12 months, and the estimated starting date is June 1st, 2022 ;
- Interested Individual Consultants may obtain further information at the address below during the Bank’s working hours: 09:00 to 17:00 hours, Abidjan local time ;
- Expressions of interest (including up to date CV) must be received at the address below before Friday 29th, April 2022 17:00 hours, Abidjan local time and specifically mentioning “Expression of Interest for the Compliance and Learning Review”.
