The Arab Republic of Egypt has received a grant from the African Development Bank to assist in the financing of the Enhancement of the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem project and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract with three specialized companies as the following.
The Management Consultancy Firm is expected to :
- Provide advisory services to selected startups in different managerial aspects ;
- Provide guidance services targeted to startups on their most frequent consultation requests.
The IT Consultancy Firm is expected to :
- Provide advisory services to selected startups in different IT solutions with recent updates ;
- Provide guidance services targeted to startups on their most frequent consultation requests.
The Legal Consultancy Firm is expected to :
- Provide consultation in the day-to-day legal responsibilities ;
- Providing legal advice that includes all aspects of the analysis, investigation and drafting process ;
- Providing support in discrete legal issues by advising the organization, drafting undertakings and structuring remedies for the relevant issues.
General Authority for investment and free zones (GAFI), Entrepreneurship Ecosystem project, now invites eligible consultancy firms to indicate their interest in one of the above fields. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, experience in similar assignments, availability of appropriate skills and resources, biographies of key experts involved in implementation, etc.). Firms may constitute joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Framework, dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org. using consultant qualification selection (CQS) method.

Interested applicants should send their Request Expression of Interest (REOI) by email , along with cover letter and an initial proposal in English language mentioning in the subject line Consultancy Firm no later than Sunday 23rd January 2022.
