The Gauteng Infrastructure Financing Agency (GIFA) has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Bokamoso Ba Rona Agri-Industrial Park.

The objective of the project is to engage a Transactions Advisor that will provide technical, financial and legal services to support the development of inclusive and sustainable agro-industrial parks in the Bokamoso Ba Rona Agri-Industrial Park (BBR) located in West Rand District of Gauteng Province, in the Republic of South Africa.

The project activities fall under the following broad components namely :

  1. Provide Technical Assistance in the establishment of an implementation management structure that will enable infrastructure development in the BBR project ;
  2. Undertake targeted funder engagement and fundraising for the Bokamoso Ba Rona Projects; and
  3. Provide technical assistance on project coordination and management.

The Gauteng Infrastructure Financing Agency (GIFA) invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing this consulting service. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with African Development Bank’s Procurement Framework for Bank Group-funded Operations, October 2015 edition, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
