EXPRESSION OF INTEREST(EOI) DEVELOPMENT OF DIVERSITY STRATEGY FOR THE AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK

  1. The African Development Bank hereby invites Consulting Firms to indicate interest in the following Assignment : Development of a Diversity Strategy for the African Development Bank :
  • The services to be provided under the Assignment include all relevant workstreams as captured in the TORs ;
  • The Corporate Human Resources Department invites firms to indicate interest in provision of the below-described services ;
  • Interested Consulting Firms shall provide information on the required qualifications and experience that demonstrate suitability to undertake the assignment (documents, reference to similar services, experience in similar assignments, etc.) ;
  • The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Procurement Policy and Procedure for Corporate Consultants Recruitment. Please, note that interest expressed by a firm does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to be included in the shortlist. The estimated duration of services is 6 months; the estimated start date is 1st July 2022. Expressions of interest must be received at the address below no later than 29th April 2022 at 23:59 local time Abidjan and stating: “Expression of Interest – Development of a Diversity Strategy for the African Development Bank.
  1. Establishment of the short list :

A shortlist of three to six consulting firms will be established at the end of the request of expressions of interest. The EOI’s will be evaluated on the following criteria :

  1. General qualifications and adequacy for the assignment to be undertaken (40) ;
  2. Expertise in the area of assignment, with demonstrable similar experience designing and implementing Diversity Strategies in International and multilateral development organizations or institutions (30) ;
  3. Availability of skills within the personnel of the company during the period planned for the execution of the contract (15%) ;
  4. Experience with the Bank and/or Multilateral development organizations (05%) ;
  5. Knowledge of the African region (05%) ;
  6. Capability to work in the Bank’s two official languages English and French (05%).
  1. Consideration of EOI :

For the EOI to be considered, the firm must be registered in the AfDB DACON (Consultant Database). Consulting firms that wish to submit an EOI but are not registered in the AfDB DACON Consultant Database should register.
