The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the African Development Fund towards implementation of the Economic Diversification Support Project and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for Incubation Services for the government of Lesotho.
The aim of the consultancy is to provide incubation services to the 50 business plan competition winners. The consultant is expected to carry out this assignment using local business development service providers (BDSPs) with the aim of transferring incubation skills to them.
The objectives of the consultancy are to 1) Develop an inception report detailing how the scope of work is going to be carried out, 2) To carry out a diagnosis of the 50 incubates, 3) To develop business development plans for each of the incubates, 4) Provide incubation services to the incubates, and 5) Transfer skills to BEDCO staff and identified BDSPs.
The estimated duration of this assignment is six (6) months from the date of signing the contract.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry now invites eligible Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide their Curriculum Vitae (CVs) indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.
Establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the Procurement Policy and Methodology for Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
