Supply of 10 Workstations for ENH

1. This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online)No AfDB441-05/16 of11^th May 2016, and on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (www.afdb.org) ;

2. The Government of Mozambique has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) in various currencies towards the cost of the Enabling Large Scale Gas and Power Investments in Mozambique Technical Assistance (ESLGAPI). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Supply of 10 Workstations for ENH ;

3. The Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy (MIREME) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply of 10 Workstations for ENH (hereinafter called “the Goods”). A National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank’s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Works ;
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address below :

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the said Executing Agency, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MZN 1,500.00 (One thousand and five hundred Mozambican Meticais) to be deposited in the account indicated below.

6. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions are those of the Bank’s Standard Bidding

Document for Procurement of Goods.

7. Bids must be delivered to the above address on or before 10:00 AM on 9 November 02^nd 2021 and must be accompanied by bid security of MZN 75,000.00 (Seventy-five Thousand Mozambican Meticais) ;

8. Bids shall remain valid for 90 days after the deadline for bid submission prescribed above ;

9. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 10:00 AM on 9 November 02^nd 2021 at the above address.
