- The Government of the Republic of the Sudan (GoS) has received financing from the African Development Fund, hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Institutional Capacity Building for Improved Access to Water and Sanitation in Port Sudan and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Lot 1 – Rehabilitation of Arbaat Well Field and Lot 2 – Construction of 15,000 m3 Storage Tank ;
- The Drinking Water and Sanitation Unit (DWSU) & Red Sea State Water Corporation (RSSWC) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Rehabilitation of Arbaat Well Field and Construction of 15,000 m3 Storage Tank that are packaged in separate lots to be constructed through a period of one year each in the Port Sudan City ;
- Bidding will be conducted through Open Competitive Bidding (International), OCBI procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Funded Operation, dated October 2015 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework ;
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Institutional Capacity Building for Improved Access to Water and Sanitation in Port Sudan, and inspect the Bidding Document during office hours 08h00 to 16h00 Sunday to Thursday at the address given below ;
- The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of SDG 10,000 or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency ;
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:45 hours (local time Khartoum, Sudan) on Tuesday 10th December 2020. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on Thursday 10th December 2020 at 13:00 hours (local time Khartoum, Sudan) ;
- All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of EURO 19,000 for Lot 1 – Rehabilitation of Arbaat Well Field and EURO 21,000 for Lot 2 – Construction of 15,000 m3 Storage Tank or their equivalent in a freely convertible currency ;
