GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE
- The African Union Commission has received a Grant from the African Development Bank to finance the Institutional Capacity Building for The African Union ;
- The principal objectives of this project are to : Improve the capacity of the African Union Commission (AUC) to drive Agenda 2063 and its flagship projects and programs. It aims to improve the institutional capacity of the AUC through capacity building and the development, upgrade and reform of systems vital for planning, coordination and service delivery in areas of procurement, financial management, conference management, knowledge management, human resources governance and performance management. It will also strengthen the capacity of the AUC to track results ;
- The project includes the following components :
- Component 1: Institutional Strengthening (systems’ reform and upgrade) ;
- Component 2: Strategy and policy planning, coordination, and corporate service delivery ;
- Component 3: Project Management.
- . Procurement of goods and/or works will be in accordance with the Bank’s Rules of Procedure for the Procurement of Goods and Works. Acquisition of the services of Consultants will follow the Bank’s Rules of Procedure for the Use of Consultants. Bidding documents are expected to be available in July 2022 ;
