REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
INTERNATIONAL INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANCY FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY GENDER EQUALITY PROFILE FOR THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA
- The African Development Bank (AFDB) hereby invites International Individual Consultants to express their interest for the development of Ethiopia Country Gender Equality Profile (CGEP) ;
- The services provided for in this assignment entail the following: (i) come up with an Issue Paper based on existing gender analyses, country reports, and identify recently released gender disaggregated data from priority sectors; (ii) undertaking in-depth gender analyses of the country’s gender status across sectors, projects and programs and come up with Field Mission Report; (iii) Collating the data collected for preparation of the CGEP, detailing all the required information with all statistics being gender disaggregated; (iii) preparation and presentation of the draft CGEP to stakeholders; (iv) preparation of policy briefs based on CGEP findings ;
- The Gender, Women and Civil Society Department (AHGC) invites Individual International Consultants to apply to provide the services described in this EOI. Interested Consultants must provide information on their capacity and experience demonstrating that they are qualified for the services ;
- Expressions of interest in English must be submitted to the address mentioned below or by e-mail, not later than April 26th, 2022, at 5 p.m. GMT and expressly mention “Notice of call for applications for the recruitment of an International Individual Consultant for Development of Ethiopia Country Gender Equality Profile” for the Gender, Women and Civil Society Department (AHGC)” ;
- The duration of the assignment for the international consultant is 45 days spread over a period of six months; and commencing tentatively beginning of May 2022 ;
