1. The Government of the Republic of Namibia has received financing from the African Development Bank hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the TIIP – Construction of Trunk Road 9/1 from Windhoek to Hosea Kutako International Airport to Dual-Carriage Freeway standards: Phase 2A – Sam Nujoma Interchange to Dordabis Interchange (19.5Km) – Auxiliary Works, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for RA/DC-CR/06-2014/2A Lot 4 – Pitching, Stoneworks and Protection against Erosion; and Gabions ;

2. The Roads Authority now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the construction of protection against erosion and Gabions on the above-named project ;

3. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (National), OCBN procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework; and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework ;

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document during office hours 08h00 to 17h00 hours at the address given below :

The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of N$200.00. The method of payment will be Electronic Fund Transfer or Cash. The document will be sent electronically via email or other appropriate method ;

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 23^rd June, 2022. Electronic Bidding will NOT be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 23^rd June, 2022;
