GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE (GPN)
Arab Republic of Egypt has requested a loan from the African Development Bank (AfDB) and French Development Agency (AFD) to finance: GABAL EL-ASFAR WWTPSTAGE III (Phase 1&2).
The principal objectives of this project are to : Design, Supply, Install, Operate & Commissioning of GABAL Al-ASFAR WWTP Stage III (Phases 1,2)
The project includes the following components :
The scope of works of the project consists of the design, supply, delivery, construction, installation, commissioning and operation up to the end of the defect’s liability period, Stage III, Phases 1&2 of GABAL Al-ASFAR Wastewater Treatment Plant, including detailed design.
The wastewater treatment Plant of the latest updated process technologies including sludge digestion (THP) and sludge mechanical dewatering will become part of the Greater Cairo Wastewater Project. Each stage of the phase of the stage III will be capable of treating to the required standards a nominal flow of 500,000 cubic meters per day of raw sewage, with peak flows of 650,000 cubic meters per day.
The project includes all civil/electromechanical process structures and service building works as described in the Tender Documents.
Procurement of goods and works will be in accordance with :
African Development Bank’s Rules of Procedure for Procurement of Goods and Works. Acquisition of the services of Consultants will follow the Bank’s Rules of Procedure for the Use of Consultants.
Prequalification documents are expected to be available in (February 2022)
