The Government of the Gambia has received financing from the African Development Bank on behalf of the Ministry of Fisheries and Water Resources towards the cost of The Climate Smart Rural WASH Development Project and intends to apply part of the agreed amount of this Grant for payments towards the consultancy for the CSRWASHDEP Project MID-TERM review.
Within the context of the Mid-Term Review, the objective of the Expert’s assignment is to undertake the Mid-Term Review of the CSRWASHDEP (Gambia). Most importantly the Expert will propose the necessary activities to be retained, those to be discontinued and new ones that could be included to ensure the project meets its initial development objectives more effectively and efficiently.
Scope of Assignment :
In order to deliver on the objective of the assignment, it is expected that the Consultant/ Expert, scope of work shall include, but not limited to the following task: assess the progress on all project components: the infrastructure related activities institutional support operational performance activities under the project, and propose amendments to the scope of activities as needed in consultation with PCU and other key stakeholders, to ensure realisation of project objectives within the available project budget and the remaining project implementation period which ends in December 2023. The Consultant will be required to complete this assignment in 60 working days.
Ministry for Fisheries, Water Resources and National Assembly Matters through the Climate Smart Rural WASH Development Project now invites eligible Consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting their CVs with description of similar assignments,
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “procurement Policy framework dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.This process will follow the Individual Consultants Selection (ICS) method. Interested individual consultants may obtain additional information at the address below during office hours Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 4.00 pm and Friday 8:00am – 12:30pm.
