The African Development Bank hereby invites individual Consultants to indicate their interests in the following Assignment: Support to the implementation of IDEV.1 work program, “The assignment”
The services to be provided under the Assignment include:
Undertaking components/activities of IDEV.1 work program, which includes thematic/program/corporate evaluations. This will include literature and documentation review, evaluation report writing and presentation, technical peer review of evaluation outputs, supervision of the deliveries of evaluation analysts. The assignment will also include activities to enhance evaluation culture in the Bank, and the effectiveness and efficiency of the Bank’s evaluation function.
- Preparing a detailed and operational work plan on how to conduct the assignment.
- Implementing the above work plan.
- Presenting the assignment outputs.
The Independent Development Evaluation (IDEV) invites individual Consultants (with at least 12 of relevant work experience in international development) to indicate their interests in providing the above-described services. Interested eligible Consultants shall provide information on their relevant qualifications, knowledge, and work experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this Assignment (documents, references to similar services, experience in similar assignments, etc.), and on approximate monthly remuneration.
The eligibility criteria (education (20%); knowledge (20%); work experience (60%)) the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Procurement Policy Framework for the Recruitment of Corporate Consultants. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include her/him in the shortlist.
The estimated duration of services is 12 months, and the workplace is at the Bank’s Head Office in Abidjan. The indicative start date is September 1, 2018.
