About the role :

As a Virgin Australia Guest Service Agent, you will be a brand ambassador. Our Guest Services Agents are responsible for providing a highly polished degree of service and Guest care in line with our service promise and brand values whilst ensuring all safety and service procedures are followed at our Airports. As the first point of contact for our Guests, you can expect to perform a variety of duties including:

• Directing our Guests as they arrive at the airport;
• Correctly checking in Guests;
• Rebooking flights;
• Handling flight disruptions and cancellations;
• Helping with special needs guests; and
• Making public announcements.

As our airports are open 365 days of the year, you can expect to work shift work, on weekends and public holidays, and with early starts and late finishes.

You will be dedicated to creating a unique and rewarding experience for our guests in every situation. Airports can be affected by operational disruptions that impact our Guests travel plans. You will be required to rely on your genuine desire to help others, solve problems and ensure the best outcome, ultimately resulting in customer satisfaction.

What you’ll need ?

• Have Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency
• Hold a current unrestricted Australian drivers licence
• Have the ability to work a rotating shift roster
