ADB/ITB/COZW/2019/0033 OUTFITTING WORKS FOR THE AFRICAN

DEVELOPMENT BANK – ZIMBABWE COUNTRY OFFICE

  1. The African Development Bank (the “Bank”) invites bids from the minimum Class A contractors for the outfitting works and related services as described in the Invitation to Bid (ITB) which is available on the African Development Bank website here and also obtainable from the Bank’s office in Zimbabwe which is located at Block 1, Ground Floor, Arundel Office Park, 107 Norfolk Road, Mount Pleasant, HARARE. Bidders on category A should also be registered with CIFOZ and should be complying with all building industry requirements on social security and others ;
  2. The contractor should have capacity to handle outfitting works, which will include civil works, partitioning works, mechanical, electrical, IT, Safety and Security installations. Bidders shall also register and shall receive the vendor number from the following link; here .
  3. The Contractor shall clearly specify their country of origin. All works, goods and related services to be supplied under this ITB shall have their origin in eligible member countries of the African Development Bank. A list of the eligible member countries is provided on the bid document and the Bidder may visit this link here for more information ;
  4. The Mandatory site visit and pre-bid meeting shall be held on the 5th March 2019 from 00 hours at the address specified on the ITB. Bidders who have not attended the site visit and pre-bid meeting shall not be considered for this bid. The closing date for this bid is 25th March 2019 at 10.00 hours shall be in the manner specified in Section 2 of the bid document, and delivery shall be through postal, mail or hand delivery at the address given on this bid ;
  5. Any request for further information shall be submitted to Tenders_RDGS@afdb.org, citing the bid reference number and description. The last date of receiving clarity and questions is by 17:00 hours Zimbabwe local time on 11 March 2019.

Late submission of bid response shall be rejected.
