Who we’re looking for :

The objective of the Program Director is to manage and deliver one or more complex programs subject to the IT Project Delivery Framework. The role is responsible for overseeing multiple programs and project teams, ensuring their respective goals are achieved.

This includes managing the program budget, schedule, and RAIDD, ensuring adequate resourcing, ensuring governance is in place and operating effectively, and working closely with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and appropriate organisational change management.

What you’ll be doing :

• Lead integrated planning across the program’s constituent streams ;
• Develop and manage the program budget, forecast and monthly cost recognition ;
• Collaborate with program sponsor(s), cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and baseline scope, deliverables, and timing ;
• Ensure RAIDD (risk, assumption, issue, dependency, decision) registers are in place and actively maintained ;
• Prepare relevant business cases and stage-gate artefacts ;
• Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

You’ll be great in this role if you :

• Proven experience as program director or other managerial position ;
• 15+ years of Program/Project Management  ;
• Financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting to support decision making and effective financial management ;
• Proven track record of building strong relationships with a broad set of stakeholders, including executive management ;
• Experience with managing expectations and presenting issues and resolutions on data and reporting ;
• Airline industry experience is desirable.
