PROCUREMENT OF WATER QUALITY REAGENTS FOR 7 UTILITIES LABORATORIES

  1. This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online) AfDB227-04/15 and on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (www.afdb.org) of April 7th, 2015.
  1. The Government of the Republic of Angola has received financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of the Institutional and Sustainability Support to Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Service Delivery Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this financing will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for: Procurement of Water Quality Reagents For 7 Utilities Laboratories (GO08-ISSUWSSSD/22).
  1. The National Directorate of Water of Angola now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of Water Quality Reagents for 7 Utilities Laboratories in three lots.
  • Lot 1 for Bengo, Lunda Norte and Lunda Sul ;
  • Lot 2 – for Cuanza Sul, Cunene and Namibe ;
  • Lot 3 – for Cabinda.

  1. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be obtained (free of charges) by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the National Directorate of Water of Angola (DNA) or the documents can be requested through the following email address : adb2@gmail.com ;
  1. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Goods. International Competitive Bidding procedures shall apply ;
  1. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 11:30 A.M. (Angolan Time) on July 22, 2022, and must be accompanied by the required Bid Security in the amounts of, USD 1,300 (AOA 540,000) for Lot1, USD 2,000 (AOA830,000) for Lot 2, and USD 1,800 (AOA730,000) for Lot 3 ;
  1. Bids shall remain valid for One Hundred Twenty (120) days after the deadline for bid submission prescribed above or any amendments thereof ;
  1. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 11:30 A.M. (Angolan Time) on July 22, 2022, at the offices of :
