Who we’re looking for :

As the Programs & System Specialist you will report into the Head of People Services and become a go-to person supporting people initiatives and projects across the employee life-cycle. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, confident to interact with senior stakeholders and with strong organisational and systems skills.

Key aspects of the role include :

• Lead end-to-end People initiatives within the Shared Services model supporting the People team (HR Business Partners, Workplace Relations and Head of People) ;
• Coordinate projects and working groups of business leaders and become the go-to person to help out and get things done ;
• Own the Virgin Flair (recognition program) dashboard build and program deployment ;
• Become the subject matter expert for employee engagement survey platform ;
• Liaise with colleagues and action Intranet updates ;
• Alongside the IT team become a system support for our Learning Management System and ensure content and compliance up-to-date ;
• Facilitate project teams when new People policies being introduced or updated ;
• Update company-wide organisational charts ;
• Contribute to regular reporting and analysis ;
• Leverage business data, engagement/pulse surveys, direct employee feedback, and best practices to build power points that will support the Heads of People ;
• Provide support across the HR shared services model.

You’ll be great in this role if you :

• Degree qualified in HR, Business or a related field ;
• Ability to think logically and creatively to develop pragmatic and effective plans for People initiatives ;
• Result driven, with a hands-on approach to achieve results under pressure ;
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills to build effective relationships ;
• Confident with new systems and software – you will learn new technologies and become a go-to person to assist others ;
• Highly organised and able to coordinate projects and ensure input from project team members ;
• Agility and resilience to adapt to changing business priorities ;
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral ;
• Highly developed customer orientation and a demonstrated drive for continuous improvement ;
• Knowledge of Microsoft office suite and confident use of PowerPoint.
