- The African Development Bank invites, through this notice, the Individual Consultants to express their interest in providing business processes reengineering and automation for various processes related to lending program and portfolio management ;
- The purpose of the mission is to improve efficiency of the work of RDGW and its units, reengineer and automate the processes for monitoring of delivery in lending and non-lending programs at departmental and country offices, automate the tracking of performance metrics of the different teams and division units, and to help RDGW management identify and focus on where to act for improved delivery. More specifically, the objectives assigned to this mission are to :
- Review the process of generating reports such as Project Concept Notes (PCNs), Project Appraisal Reports (PARs), project briefs, country briefs and technical annexes. Propose possible automation solutions and required interfaces to improve speed and accuracy of generating the above reports ;
- Automate the tracking of Project Procurement Plans and No-Objection requests with alerts and weekly status reports at RDGW and country office levels ;
- Development of dashboards for RDGW management with automatic alerts, building upon the existing Regional Dashboard but customized with specific needs from RDGW ;
- Identify how IT capabilities can influence and improve process design for projects PCNs, Appraisal reports, PCRs ;
- Recommend ICT/Automation Solutions in line with Bank policies and best practices being followed in similar departmental units in other international organizations.
- The Regional Department of Development and Services for West Africa (RDGW) invites Individual Consultants to apply to provide the services described above. Interested Individual Consultants must provide information on their capacity and experience demonstrating that they are qualified for the services (documentation, reference of similar services, experience in comparable missions, etc.) ;
- The eligibility criteria, the establishment of the shortlist and the selection procedure will be in accordance with the Rules and Procedures for the Use of Corporate Consultants It should be noted that the interest shown by an Individual Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him on the shortlist ;
- The duration of the consultancy is estimated at 6 months and the start date is scheduled for February 2022;
- Interested Individual Consultants can obtain additional information at the address mentioned below during the following local office opening hours: from 09:00 to 17:00 hours ;
- Expressions of interest must be submitted to the address mentioned below no later than 11th February 2022 at 17:00 local time (GMT) and expressly marked « Business Processes Reengineering and Automation for RDGW ». They should be sent by email to : Rdgw_recruit@afdb.org
ESTABLISHMENT OF THE SHORTLIST :
- A shortlist of three to six individual Consultants will be drawn up following the call for expressions of interest. Consultants will be evaluated according to the following criteria based on their updated CV.
