DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS LINKAGES AND CATALOGUE OF MSMEs´ SUPPLIERS IN ANGOLA

The Government of Angola (GoA) has received a loan from the African Development Bank (AfDB) towards the implementation of the Institutional Capacity Building for Private Sector Development Project (ICBPSD) and intends to apply part of this loan to payments under the contract for consultancy to DEVELOP BUSINESS LINKAGES AND CATALOGUE OF MSMEs´ SUPPLIERS IN ANGOLA.
The services included under this project are: (a) Conduct a detailed review of the opportunities to localize supply chains and the recommendations of quality service requirements in order to identify potential investors and companies (MSME buyers) for invitations to road shows and MSME Supplier Awareness Events ; (b) Create a MSME supplier catalogue (both digital and physical) to provide information of available products and services in the Angolan marketplace; (c )Conduct the IAPMEI’s Business Linkage Platform and customize the platform to the business requirements of INAPEM and
(d) Develop MSME Supplier Awareness and business linkages Events.
The Ministry of Economy and Planning now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants” dated May 2008 and revised in July 2012, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
