Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Gender Equality and Inclusion (GESI) Officer to join our team in Aweil South Sudan.
A Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Program Officer will lead specific actions across all the supported counties to integrate gender equality and social inclusion throughout both service delivery and in communities – focussing on institutional change and whole community transformation. The GESI officer will also support the institutionalisation of GESI into relevant SMOH planning and operations
The successful candidate will have :
- University degree or advances training/ course in psychology, sociology, anthropology, gender studies, social work ;
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with vulnerable communities, basic needs and social service experience, and/or advocacy programs ;
- Experience in GBV/protection interventions ;
- Experience of working with UN or Non‐Governmental organizations.
