Duration Appointment : Indefinite subject to successful completion of probationary period

The work schedule for this position is : Full Time (40 hours per week)

Duties :

Make installation and repairs to new and existing fixtures and water channeling equipment as directed by the maintenance supervisor or the FM on USG controlled properties in Niamey, Niger.  Train all assigned apprentices.

Education : completion of elementary school (CFEPD) is required.

Experience : five years of journeyman plumbing experience required.

Job knowledge : knowledge of the various types of pressurized and gravity, supply and drainage piping systems and their related equipment.

Language : level 3 (good working knowledge) speaking/reading/writing French and local language (hausa and/or Zarma) is required.  Level 1 (rudimentary knowledge) speaking/reading/writing english is required.
