Security Tasks:
R1: Logistics Management
1. To ensure the reinstallation and the strict logistic procedure follow-up (provisioning/purchase/followed requisitions);
2. Follow-ups on requisitions treated locally and sent to the base;
3. To supervise and ensure the logistic staff training and development of their abilities (e.g. base logistician, purchases manager, storekeepers, park manager, drivers, etc.);
4. To supervise and keep track of the inventory;
5. To closely supervise the storekeepers work during reception and shipping of goods, quality control and proper handling of delivery documents;
6. To closely supervise merchandise shipping / transportation / receiving tasks;
7. Weekly requisition follow-ups and activity reports; monthly equipment and stock reports. R2: Warehouses
1. To supervise and manage the main warehouses and secondary stores (space organization, stock movement, classification system);
2. To ensure initial storekeepers training and plan regular training updates. R3: Equipment Maintenance
1. To supervise maintenance and correct use of the equipment;
2. To monitor equipment management and its maintenance;
3. To ensure the proper use of the equipment (computers, printers, generators, etc);
4. To find qualified technicians and ensure the stock maintenance and repairs. R4: Automobile Fleet
1. To supervise the Park Manager with the planning and organization of the drivers tasks
2. To manage the vehicles in agreement with the country’s legislation, the organization’s rules and provide safety instructions;
3. To produce monthly reports on automobile fleet use and related costs (oil, gas oil, spare parts);
4. To organize the automobile fleet classification system. R5: Followed Maintenance and Rehabilitation of the office, guest house and store
1. To follow-up on maintenance and restorations in progress;
2. To propose enhancements on space and facilities management. Qualifications and required competencies
Academic Level: Logistics training
Technical Experience
• Technical Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar position;
• Previous logistics operations experience in medium-large scale complex emergencies
• Comprehensive knowledge of the different elements of the supply chain in humanitarian context.
• Excellent grasp of NGO/Donor policies and procedures relevant to procurement and administration.
Experience in multi-donor funding environment is an asset
• Emergency procurement experience is an asset
• Experience in construction methods and techniques;
• Experience in conflict areas / or natural disasters, with limited infrastructure;
• Excellent in managing various tasks simultaneously as well as administrative duties in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment.Core Competencies

• Essential: Data-processing competencies and techniques (construction knowledge, mechanical, electrical if necessary) and proven problem resolution skills;
