Context :

This request for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared on the Bank’s website on 16 December 2016

The Ministry of Works and Transport has received a loan from the African Development Bank towards the Multi National Lake Victoria Maritime Communication and Transport Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied for eligible payments for the above consultancy services.

The consultancy services include preparation of architectural and civil designs and bills of quantities for training infrastructure at Fisheries Training Institute and Specifications for the sub-center for Maritime Regional Coordination – Entebbe for a duration not exceeding three months.

The Ministry of Works and Transport now invites consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the consultancy services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy and Methodology for Bank Group Funded Operations” (BPM), dated October 2015”, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.

Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm East African Standard Time.

Expressions of Interest must be clearly marked with the following statement “Expression of Interest for preparation of Architectural and Civil Designs and Bills of Quantities for Training Infrastructure at Fisheries Training Institute and Specifications for the sub-center for Maritime Regional Coordination – Entebbe” and must be delivered to the address below by Wednesday 14 August 2019, at 5:00pm local time. Submission by electronic mail (email) will be accepted.
