Request for expressions of interest  of an Individual Consultant for Non-Sovereign Corporate Portfolio Management –

Dear Sir/Madam

1. The African Development Bank hereby invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in the following Assignment: Individual Consultant for Non-Sovereign Corporate Portfolio Management.

2. The services to be provided under the Assignment : The consultant will be responsible for the Portfolio Management (corporate wide and for all asset classes). He/she will Provide technical expertise and advisory services in the implementation and monitoring of the projects, lead project restructuring activities as well as waivers,  Coordinate the preparation of the periodic corporate portfolio review reports, Monitor the impact of the operating environment on projects under implementation and alert on the potential risk that might arise  Monitor the adequacy of the level of provisions for the non-sovereign portfolio and recommending its adjustment as necessary Lead analytical work on portfolio trends, drivers of investment returns and draws lessons from the portfolio analysis Monitor performance of portfolio with particular focus on Non-Performing loans and prepare recommendations for Senior Management’s consideration.

3. The NSO and Private Sector Support Department (PINS) invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above-described services. Interested Consultants shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this Assignment (documents, reference to similar services, experience in similar assignments, etc.).

4. The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Rules and Procedure for Acquisition of Consulting Services funded by the Administrative or Capital Expenditure Budget. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him/her in the shortlist.

5. The assignment will be for a period of 6 working months and the estimated starting date will be 2^nd September 2019.

7. Expressions of interest must be received by email at the address above no later than Friday 26^th July 2019, at 17h00 local time and specifically mentioning Individual Consultants for Non-Sovereign Corporate Portfolio Management.

Establishment of the short list :

8. A shortlist of three to six individual consultants will be established at the end the request of expressions of interest. The consultants on the shortlist will be judged on the following criteria on the basis of their updated resume.
