Call for papers for the 6th World Congress of the International Microsimulation Association (IMA 2017) that will take place at the Collegio Carlo Alberto in Moncalieri, Italy from June 21 to 23, 2017.
Submissions are encouraged from the fields (broadly defined) of microsimulation, agent based modelling and computational methods. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas of interest: labour supply and demand, pensions, taxation, consumption, macroeconomics, finance, consumption, industrial organisation, epidemiology and health policies, land use and spatial models, emergence of habits and social norms, crime, networks, ecological models, traffic, methodological issues in agent-based and microsimulation modelling, estimation, calibration and validation techniques, simulation platforms and software.
Extended abstracts and full papers should be submitted online by April 1, 2017 (deadline extended). More information about submissions.
A student prize of 500 Euros will be awarded to the best paper co-authored and presented by a doctoral student. More information about the student prize, including the submission procedure.
A selection of the papers will be published as a special issue of the International Journal of Microsimulation.
